Resident Evil Survival Unit mobile game hits two million installs – developers celebrate success
The mobile strategy game Resident Evil Survival Unit, which was met with a lukewarm reception from fans of the series even at the announcement stage, has performed surprisingly well since its release. The game, recently released on smartphones, has managed to attract a significant audience in a short time.

Capcom announced that ten days after its launch, the game surpassed two million downloads worldwide. To celebrate this impressive achievement, the team prepared a gift for users, offering the promo code "2m Survivors" to receive a set of in-game bonuses.
These statistics stand out especially compared to other mobile releases in the series. For comparison, the free iOS port of Resident Evil 7 has accumulated only 83,000 downloads. However, it's hardly a global hit: mobile market champions like Genshin Impact have demonstrated far more impressive growth, racking up tens of millions of downloads in just a few days.
